Our Return of Investment!

Soon, we will also reap our “return of investment”

Kindness begets kindness!

Ang pagbibigay daw ng kabutihan, parang negosyo lang yan! Di mo alam kung may babalik na tubo!

Pero kapag “kabutihan ang puhunan natin sa negosyo”, there might be no assurance na hindi tayo malulugi– but we could be SO SURE that it will eventually make us GROW.

Why? … kasi ‘yong pinili nating maging puhunan gives us that sensation na hinding-hindi natin ikakalugi dahil it makes us feel great kapag nai-extend natin ito sa iba.

This is one secret pala which made Jesus a great Entrepreneur! At first He was just like a salesman whom nobody believed; but because He INVESTESTED ON PERSONAL THOUGHTFULNESS, soon He became that earnestly-sought sales-person who satisfies people’s needs just by His mere presence — without having to do much of “sales-talk” because His actions already demonstrated HOPE TO MANY!

At times we may feel insulted to give out kindness to some who would tend to doubt our intensions. Sometimes we may also feel “small” when people would carelessly demean the simple goodness that we extend — kaya in effect, we feel hesitant to pursue even that simple offer of friendship. But because we’re already aware that we should “run our business” in whatever type, persist still! — kasi this is Jesus’ sales-talk to us in today’s gospel:

“Do not be afraid; just have faith.”

‘yong tubo, maaaring ‘di natin makita kaagad by now; pero sige lang, let’s just “keep on doing the right thing” kasi soon, we will also reap our “return of investment” – that is: when people eventually start “talking good about us!” because we modelled Jesus Entrepreneur’s example! #sunset

  1. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isiah 41:10(WEB)

This is one of my favorite verse in the bible that whatever I do, God will always guide me, but the reality is that sometimes we are discouraged because of the trials that we are encountering in our everyday lives. Sometimes we are giving up to show care and love to those who betrayed us, and we are hesitant to do it again, but again God reminded us through His word that ” Your Labor in the Lord is not in Vain.”
That is the reason why we need to be persistent!
“Nakikita naman ng Panginoon ang lahat ng ginagawa natin, at hindi man natin matatanggap ang gantimpala dito sa lupa, may nakalaan na gantimpala sa langit.”

  2. Help and giving has no qualification. It is automatic, nature na kasi ng tao iyon. In some instances na nakakita siya ng nasa alanganing sitwasyon kilala o hindi niya kilala ang tao, lalapit at lalapit pa rin siya para makapagbigay ng tulong, not minding his condition. No matter how big or small his contributions may be it doesn’t matter to the giver. He is more after on how he can serve his Creator in his own way. There is a feeling of fulfilment whenever we share the blessings that He is pouring on us.
In that way I can say how i return His investments on me.

” A most loving virtue of all, is that of a cheerful giver with the right attitude of LOVE! Giving is not just a random act of kindness. it is an investment in humanity. in return you become more than yourself, you transcend.” – Angie Karan

  3. Every time I think about giving, I am reminded by the Book of Acts 20: 35. It says: In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ I think the key ingredient of doing so, is for us to find first the true meaning of love. Unconditional love means love without condition. It means giving love without expecting anything in return.

The good things God gives us should be used to serve others. It is our responsibility to share His love with others. That is the nature of service and of love; all of our lights shine brighter when we pass them along. When we give without expecting anything in return we receive the blessings of the Lord.

It feels good to help someone else. 🙂

  4. It’s really not an easy task-to do good, especially in a world where eyes are always there ready to judge and criticize. But still as long as you know you’re doing the right thing, there’s nothing to be afraid of. What matters most is God’s judgement after all. It may seem common sense to say “you reap what you sow”, but still many of us don’t get it. Paul wrote this “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap (Galatians 6:7). Therefore, let’s sow good deeds, and God (who knows you, everything about you and even the number of your hair) will give you what you deserve. You may fool everyone around you even yourself but you can never fool God.

  5. “Kindness makes the world go round.” I can’ t imagine how the world would be, if all of us sow kindness to everyone. Maybe the world will be full of love… Maybe there will be no more cruelty…maybe there will be no more war… maybe there will be no more poverty and more. There are lots of maybe’s in my mind. But how can these maybe’s come true?

Kindness is the key. Let’s start to sow kindness because in our little ways we can influence others to do the same. I believe that “An act of kindness creates an endless ripples which comes back to you”

    1. Thanks Analyn!
Those a lot of “maybe”can be like a plant which would grow into a tree if you start watering it everyday!
Our acts of love to such plant will make each “maybe” a “reality” — let’s begin now : IN OUR OWN LITTLE WAYS! 🙂
