What’s the “WHY”?

Selfies, status posts, tweets, blogs, #hugotlines, captured vids and the likes — name it, the Social Media contain variations and a lot more! Whatever there are, one and all would always be excited to keep on going back to their posts and see how many likes, reactions & hits they’ve got!

Exciting, isn’t it? — but it’s all somewhere OUT THERE!

YET, THE IRONY! — deep within each show-offs are actually searching souls. Lonesome SOMEWHERE “IN THERE”! — longing deep within!

Such a vast world with interconnected connections — yet, VOID OF MEANING! And yes, for the longest time of existence of Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Tweeter, Google, Linkedin, Tumbler, Blogger and the likes, that same longing for affirmations still go on and on and on …

Technology has all been set, Apps keep on growing in variations; sometimes we no longer even know what alternative would best fit our convenience, yet still, some vastness remain not-filled-in!

But what do you think is the “WHY”?

What is there that we actually need to evaluate?

How do you give meaning to a meaningless world?

What message should come across?

What should be your technology? … How would you INSPIRE through it?

What’s YOUR CALL?  🙂

BW#1. What's your Technology?

  1. Technology is created to add colors to our lives. We should not forget that the purpose of it is to share and inspire others the essence of our existence. If we feel the emptiness after of what we have posted online,it is because our intentions are egocentric rather than altruistic. There is this “whyness” simply because our heart is not contented of what technology brought to us.Life is full of meanings. How can we inspire others with the use of teachnolgy? For me my technology will be my voice who speaks beautiful words, words that could change our world.

  2. Technology is an invention of science that is created by a certain people. It is very useful nowadays. It is not only help people to make there life easier but it give us knowledge about the wonderful creation of our Lord Jesus Christ. HE is the great inventor, HE is the reason of all our good ideas. To give meaning to a meaningless world we should do something or we should help ourselves and other people to make our world meaningful. The message is if we defend only to our world you will not become successful. Meaning if you do something good you can get something good also. For me technology is the great invention of GOD. We have to use it in a nice way. We have to use technology not only by its design, not only for the betterment of our nation but the most important is to value GOD intention why technology was given to all of us.

  3. The fast paced technology advances have a great impact in our society today such as the inclining loop of social media and the increasing development of the apps. Many are attached and others are possessed with their FB accounts and the like. Others may consider these apps as their stress adaptors, for others it might be their interests. Some are excited in online streaming and going around these social media apps because it might be their way of expressing theirselves and it may give them comfort and happiness. On the other side, they may not notice that their lives are no longer private because of too much expression like in the use of Facebook. Yes, technology and innovations have a great help, however we should still know our limitations.

  4. The fast paced technology advances have a great influence in our society today such as the inclining loop of social media and the increasing development of the apps. Because of the easy access with the internet today, people are linked in making various accounts. For instance the Facebook, many are attached with their timelines and as much as possible, they make it up to date. For some, they may consider it in displacing their stress. Others might have it as their interests and it might also their way of expressing their selves. On the other side of it, they tend to become possessed with their accounts. Looking back with their posts or status, it might develop various self reaction other than the reactions coming from their friends or followers. Yes, technology and innovations are really amazing but we may no longer be aware that we are already abusing the use of those and not noticing that our lives are already public. We are given freedom and easy access, but we must remember that everything has limitations as well. We must make a self-evaluation if these innovations are giving us a positive impact or it can be the negative side of it which we do not really like to happen.

  5. JOSHUA GANZON. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY. 7AM. 2nd sem 2015-2016

I’m not an active user of facebook – the last time I uploaded a picture was three years ago – so I will post a comment about the perception of users in a general level. I remember when I was still active in Facebook in 2012, my brother once told me about a quote that upholds my professionalism on socialization and leadership: “Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.” With this guiding principle, I would like to relate the quote on the behavior of people about social media.

Each individual’s identity is complex and ever-changing, and the different platforms of technology have presented a wide array of subtle distinction in understanding ourselves and our connections to the rest of the world. People look at the social media in different pespectives. Most people active online find interest in using the social media as a source of entertainment –recording “trending” videos and sharing inciting thoughts. While others use them extensively to broadcast strictly personal information. With the videos, fan pages, and quotes, we would like to share the entertainment and learning we found on the Internet.

I believe that social media would help us relieve ourselves from a tiring day from work. It is also a very good way to connect ourselves to people far from us. We get to reconnect with our long-lost friends by starting a simple “kumusta” that broadens the conversation to a reminiscing, memorable get-togethers.

For me, each Facebook post, Twitter feed, and the like has its own value. I don’t think that people post statements or interesting things on social media just to receive attention. I believe that a person has an innate characteristic to socialize himself in and to contribute his ideas and expressions to a rapidly-changing world. I also don’t think that there is a meaningless post because every individual can express himself in a society he lives in. Some people bash “meaningless posts” on social media because we think that what we know is acceptable to them. We have to step back and ponder that the advantages of social media remarkably outnumbers their counterparts.

The social media have done so many good things to the humanity at large. With these media, we can share our sentiments to people and extend our help to them. Let’s consider the disastrous typhoon that struck the eastern side of the country in 2013. All of the residents of Tacloban were punished by losing their living, especially their families. Without the millions of netizens’ posts on social media, it wouldn’t be possible for the other countries to immediately send aid to a submerged region. Besides, we can promote our careers and identity with social media. For instance, the Team Kramer might not be recognized in the local ads without showing-off Kendra’s cuddly and adorable photos and videos on Facebook.

For us teachers, social media will help us reminding the students that they are just supplements to relationships. It is true that with these, students can converse with their classmates but it should not be the basis of relationships; the students are “friends” on Facebook but they never talked to each other in the class for the whole school year. Basically, we should teach students to form harmonious, personal relationships rather than being fenced by the cyberspace. Asides from that, we have to let the students value that we should spend more time in polishing our talents rather than using social media. On a teaching-career level, we should focus on allotting time in bonding with our families and in reading (textbooks, novels, the Bible/Qur’an).

  6. An English proverb says that “Necessity is the mother of invention”. In this fast-paced era when people and families are required to move away from each other in order to acquire life security, human knowledge has initiated the reconnection of broken ties brought about by the need to adapt to this modern world where everything is moving. Technology is the product of the need of humans to be wired to people, messages and information all over the globe.

Nowadays, technology has become more affordable and more accessible to a greater group of people across gender, age and social status. The digital world has indeed made life easier, which is a good thing. However, as human person to technology ratio gets to 1:1 (for some, 1:greater than 1), the goal of technology to connect is negated. Instead of filling out the void, it has made matters worse. The spaces among persons have grown farther because instead of engaging to real conversation, they have turned to social media to send out their messages to the same person inside the room.

The virtual world of Internet and social media, to most people, has become their escape from the painful realities of the real world. Approval from “friends” is just one click away if we talk of social media, but a simple tap on the back is received as seldom as the blue moon. Expression of one’s sadness or anxiety takes only a few 😦 ;( etc., but these emoticons are understatement of what the real pain is.

The real meaning of life is slowly being washed away by careless and excessive use of technology in our lives. The messages that we read, most of the time, are sent out using complicated language that speak mostly of ourselves, our achievements, our greatness, and the failures of other people. I believe, however, that if we start sending out messages of genuine love and compassion towards other people, those messages that wish to construct and not to destruct, using clear, simple and uncomplicated language, the virtual world of technology and social media can then coincide with real world of real faces and hearts.

    1. very nice. well-written. i was amazed with the transitioning and contents of the essay, as well as the message it conveys. regarding the message, it is true that many people express their posts because there’s pride/greatness that instills them. some posts are about entertaining things that people would like to share to their friends on social media. in a world where people always rely on gadgets, i think that it is natural to be expressive with one’s posts (about personal achievement, greatness, etc) because such gadgets and advance technologies develop EQ more than IQ – less time to read, more time on facebook.

nakikita ko yung sinasabi mo pong “sending out messages of genuine love and compassion towards other people” nang magbato ng sentiments ang mga filipino sa tagumpay ni pia wurtzbach. napeperceive ko rin na malaki ang maiboboses ng social media sa lipunan kapag hindi naging patas ang pagkapanalo ng isang presidential candidate.

  7. ”EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY” – Make a skilled educators create rich learning environments where students are introduced to NEW IDEAS, DEVELOP NEW SKILLS, and EXPAND THEIR PERSPECTIVES. The informed use of technology can engage students in NEW EXPERIENCES and create a community of learners across geophysical boundaries. Technology is TRANSFORMING education today, and it will continue to do so tomorrow. And no matter how advance technology, Dont abandon the BOOK, there is NOTHING in our material would more beautiful than the book.”There’s a PROVERB which that says “to ERR IS HUMAN, BUT HUMAN ERROR IS NOTHING TO WHAT A COMPUTER OR TECHNOLOGY CA DO IF IT TRIES”..TECHNOLOGY – is just a TOOL. 9. Finding the answer of “WHY” is subjective and relies within the individual itself. If a person uses technology to be productive and as an instrument for improvement, then he/she has a good viewpoint of the world and knows its true meaning. On the contrary, if a person uses technology to be counter-productive and as an instrument for fishing attention, spreading hate and burdening netizens, then its root maybe the lack of his/her meaning and purpose to the world. It’s all about perspective, not all people believe that the world is meaningless. Although while it maybe true to some, one of the key factors of the said undesirable belief is TECHNOLOGY.

We should use technology of social media because it is the most effective platform for information. Your word there will reach thousands and even millions, making it an efficient medium for communication.
What we must evaluate though is how we should use it. Thus Facebook, Twitter, Blogs etc. should be used to inspire through positive influence, educating posts, good news and many more and not to spread misinformation, promote violence, isolate others and many more. I therefore conclude that the use of this technology (Social Media) is a double edged sword, it can inspire or destroy others so use it responsibly and wisely.

  11. Technology is one of the awesome gifts given by God. The Lord allowed these technologies to evolve because He wants us to have convenience in what we do. But let us not forget that these technologies are supposed to give glory and be used FOR the Lord. Let us use this as a great instrument to touch other’s life and reach or help people who are in need.
Many could be used as an instrument but these tehonologies are very timely.. So let us use technology as a good and sound means to spread love, peace and the likes that the Lord wants to use for His glory.

  12. We all know that technology has its advantages and disadvantages to people. The good thing in technology is to make our work easier and faster but sometimes if not most people simply take disadvantage/s of using it. Generally, technology has a great impact to everyone’s life which makes people’s lives stress-free and productive in some aspects or destructive on the bad side of it.
But I cannot deny the fact that I am enjoying the different programs and applications brought by technology into my life such as computer, laptop, tablet, I-pad, I-phones and smartphones. These make my works easier especially towards my profession. It is also my one way of relieving stress like capturing my face using camera 360 which makes me laugh when you see your face edited or enhanced.
We should need to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages to see the good and bad impacts in our lives since the world is rapidly changing because of technology. Besides, we should give more emphasis on the good and bad impacts of technology for us to be always aware, reminded and updated especially to our young learners. I know that I play a vital role in today’s age of technology to properly educate my learners to utilize it productively.
To sum up, let us not forget acknowledging the creator of all which is GOD to really give meaning to the meaningless world. Let us use HIS creation/invention in many beautiful ways and benefits brought by technology to inspire and share the purpose/s but not to ruin the life and the world that we live in.

  13. “WHY” does technology exist? i think to help us to develop our skills for the 21st Century. But others abused it. They just post what they want without thinking that there are consequences in everything they do. We cannot control the spread of technology but we can help to use it in meaningful ways. As teachers we should guide students in using these technologies through better ways.

  14. New technology and social media are constantly changing and developing. It brings people closer together despite the distance. It helps society to go the easy route because it takes less time of our schedule. However, some people misused this kind of technology in the field of communication. Others use it for bashing, posting indecent words and the like. In that case, the true purpose of the technology has not been served. For me, we must use the power of technology to break down barriers, bring clarity and inspire actions to solve problem and miscommunication. We must use it to connect and share innovative ideas virtually to everybody. And most importantly, we must use it to spread the good news of God.

  16. Most of the people worldwide has been seized by a vast of Applications ( Apps. ) which is actually trending for today’s generation like Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter, Youtube and the like. A lot of us have been used of checking out how many hits or likes it is because they have been evaluating their selves and make fun of how popular they are.For me, there’s nothing of such a meaningless in this world because I do believe that everything here on earth has a purpose of how it has been existed, happened and created each of those has a certain meaning even in a small matter.
With my own perception of how or why do vast of people have posted a lot of information about themselves or even in every routine/ events that happened every day of their lives because they wanted to let other people know that they have been existed ,boasted of how precious they are, how miserable they’ve got or whatever they’ve done. Others find these apps as a stress reliever and their way of expressing their selves but they don’t even realize that some posts brought their lives into risky because they don’t have the since of privacy and sometimes it also gives a bad affection to others that have been read. You don’t even know you have been humiliating others too even in a simple posts. Indeed, we should know with our limitations of posting and sharing.
As an educator and soon to be in a teaching industry, my best technology that I could even inspire other is myself too. My voice would speak the good words, inspirational stories and testimonies and especially the words about GOD, that could help the world become better. As a teacher I would be the role model of our students of what is right and wrong. Indeed, I would start with myself as an inspirational teachers too.
The so-called “WHYNESS” depends or relies on the individual itself of how they give meaning thru it.

  17. Openness, participation, and sharing- this is the unique characteristic of social media. But despite the rapid development, a growing concern and skepticism regarding the use of social media exists. It is a topic that divides opinion- whether it is an amazing tool or a tool that can ruin lives. Proponents say that social networking promotes increased interaction with friends and family; offer teachers and students valuable access to educational support and materials; facilitate social and political change; and disseminate useful information rapidly. And we are very much lucky that we belong in this generation to experience the perks and privileges of social media.
Opponents, on the other hand, say that the sites prevent face-to-face communication; waste time on frivolous activity; alter children’s brains and behavior making them more prone to ADHD; expose users to predators like pedophiles and burglars; and spread false and potentially dangerous information. These negative impacts are the very reason that technology becomes VOID of MEANING.
Moreover, social media becomes the outlet of people with “me, myself and I” syndrome longing for social affirmation- posting every inch of their activities from waking up ‘til getting in bed, waiting for likes and comments to flood on their posts which can then generate emotional distress. This negative “psychological impact” is the unfilled vastness in every human being hooked in social media.
What message should come across? USE social media to reflect on meaningful aspects of our own identity and social connections with cherished others like treasuring all our adorably nostalgic #tbt photos. Let technology be our tool to strengthen preexisting relationships and even our own sense of identity.

In our world today, i can say that without technology many people will suffer because technology make our everyday doings easier. Most of new generations today are born with technology. In education, most of schools are using new technologies in teaching and in learning,as a teacher even though i am not yet in the field of teaching, i think my technology that will inspire my students is my own talent, skills and own strategies in teaching. our uniqueness as a teacher is one of the technology that will help our student to motivate in their studies and be their model to make them a good citizen not only for their self but also for our country.

As once Albert Einstein feared about that technology will surpass human interactions. Social media became so exciting and very interesting in the eyes of the youth. And we no longer even know what alternative would best fit in our convenience. We teachers are changing the world with technology. We should bear in mind that Technology is just a tool, in terms of getting our students working together and motivating, Let’s make ourselves the most important and the best technology ever.! 🙂

  20. Social media plays am important role in our life. Sabi nga bahagi na ng ating pang araw-araw na pamumuhay. Every morning when i wake up, i will get my phone and visit mg facebook account,IG and my twitter account. Nadagdagan pa ng snapchat at LinkedIn. Motivated lagi ako mgpost ng bagong pictures everytime na nakikita ko maraming naglalike. But, as an educator, how will i use it?How can we inspire others? What is our role?In social media we get an extraordinary platform to express our feelings, our thoughts and our messages through this social networking. The social networking sites also brings us a lot of information which we had missed or had not noticed. It also brings out all Important things in our daily lives. And of course for children it had introduced new websites which the people is talking about in the social sites and for people it is really very useful for them to know about new things, about new discounts in shops because it has been a basic thing for people’s life and has proven its importance towards the people. But social media has been spreading some falsified and fabricated news and information. This has led to many conflicts and untoward incidents also the spread of hatred and mistrust among people. How can we prevent it? As educator, the change should start first in ourselves in using technology and social media. You cannot inspire and change others hanggat hindi mo sinisimulan sa sarili mo..Technology is very important to us. We just use it wisely and for common good.We are teachers we can inspire our pupils also the parents to do the same.If each of us takes one small action, millions of us can do what one can never do alone.Hindi na natin mapipigilan ang teknolohiya kung makabubuti o makasasama ba sa atin. Not everyone can change the world for good, but help those that can or anyone can change the world for the better, but not by themselves. The result is the same! We improve every day I feel like it… but other days I feel like humanity takes a step back. But we can’t give up. NO, We Will NOT give up for a better future! For not only ourselves, but the world.

  21. As an individual I was not interested to social media even when my elementary classmates started to get hook by Friendster or yahoo messenger I still didn’t bother to involved myself in their virtual world. The thing is I was more interested in face-to-face socialization. I just don’t think that my happiness would felt real if I socialized through social media. At that time, I would rather talk with my classmates and ask them to play games with me. There we would bluntly shout, laugh, share stories and build a real connection. Unlike in the virtual world that hides you behind screens and restrains your face to face social interaction, having a real life interaction as a child is a much better way to feel and stay connected with people.

It was only during my first year in college that I started to pay attention in social media. I did it not to replace my real world but to stay connected with those people whom I shared my life with. As a social being it is only natural to use what convenience you in socializing with people, so when three of my friends went abroad I started to explore the social media. I wanted to keep the memories that we created and somehow share updates of our life. It is like being part of that person’s world, even though distance keeps you apart.

As I was starting my journey to the virtual world I encountered a silly dilemma of weighing whether I would accept the ‘friend request’ of those people I only knew by face but never had a chance to socialize with. I find it rude not to accept their ‘friend request’ so I started to gain friends even if we’re not friends at all. It’s amazing how one could actually gain friends without having to put in any actual work to build the relationship. You get the feeling of being social without having to go out and socialize.

Having a virtual friends created a whole new perception of virtual world to me. I believe the social media was intended to help people share important information and create a very “connected” world. Unfortunately, the virtual connectedness that is apparent in our society is very shy, confused, and often lonely. It is shy because many of us get contented with simply liking facebook post or following tweets on tweeter, chatting or browsing the profile updates of your virtual friends, without finding the courage and effort to approach that person and start to build real friendship with that person. It is confused because apparently it is often seen that people have their heads down at their cellphones or other mobile device. Many of us would rather start socializing in the virtual world than starting a real conversation with the person next to us even if he’s already included in our virtual “facebook friends list”. Lastly, it is often lonely because it becomes your scape to reality. People create images of themselves which is sometimes far from what their life is all about. They post every exciting photos and videos that create their image as a virtual person and when others starts to see it they couldn’t help but compare their current life. Thus, creating an insecure feeling of individual.

I believe that social media becomes overwhelming that it begins to create a negative impact in our social life. We must also consider the beauty of privacy because sometimes there are events in our life that’s better off the virtual world so as not to lose the special connection and privacy that you have towards it. As a responsible individual we have to keep our life centered in reality and use social media to enhance our social relationships.

Based on my experience I don’t indulge in social media at first because for me other people can invade your privacy, pose threats towards you, and it may lead to addiction. The quote “Think before you click” because in just one click your life may change instantly into a dream come true or a nightmare. But on the other side of technology is uniting people on a huge platform for the achievement of some specific objective. This will bring the positive change in the society. As a teacher, integrating technology is like giving opportunity to your students to grow with a proper guidance in using technology.

  23. I am one of the many guilty people about this. It’s truly an awesome feeling when somebody likes what you have posted on any social media account, most especially when number of likes keep going and going. This means that people feel you! They get what you mean, may it be on a happy or sad note. And it should be as simple as that.
But there are those who, despite the many likes and comments they get on their posts, still feel incomplete, unhappy, and long on something.
My husband once said, “I don’t like social media. Many people pretend happy and having a perfect, even if it’s not the reality. They use this privilege to boast off.”
Personally, I believe that we should have contentment in life. That’s what’s lacking to some people nowadays. Some don’t know what they really want, and it gets even complicated by seeing things on others through social media. This is just one of the negative impacts of technology and social media.
We live in a high tech world—even with high tech classrooms. But there can be a negative side resulting from inappropriate or overuse of technology. Technology makes our lives easier. Today’s people have tremendous opportunities to learn and to connect by using it. But with each advantage comes a potential cost. When we understand those costs and can minimize them, we can keep the use of technology positive.

Almost all the individuals do have their social media account (facebook, instagram, twitter and so on) they post whatever they want to post, they let the public know their private life and sometimes they are not aware that they put their lives in danger. why not used the social media in giving meaning to a meaningless world? Why not share into your facebook account the words of wisdom/ gospel from our Almighty Father and let our students reflect? by doing that so we become a good example to our students. And also we are helping them to grow their faith. Aside from that why not share different health tips in our social media account. By sharing important facts in this world we are helping one another in giving meaning to a meaningless world.

  26. Technology can give positive and negative influence on social interactions.
With the rapid growth of technologies that are able to overcome the barriers of time and space just like the modern transportations and the internet one would think that these instruments would be used to gain an understanding of other cultures, meet people all over the world, maintain and strengthen relationships, communicate effectively with others, and help people to become more socially skilled. However, some technological advances cause people to be disturbed, overly stressed, and increasingly alone. Many people are involved in an abundant number of relationships through technology, but sometimes the quantity of these associations leaves people feeling qualitatively empty. Obviously, technology has had a great impact on what it means to be social.
It is clear that technology has the power to harm or develop your social skills and social life. It is important to analyze how technology influences you socially. Do technologies help you build positive, meaningful relationships, or do technologies hinder this process? Are you better able to communicate, listen, and share because of the technologies in your life? Do you use technologies to improve your relationships and build new ones? Do you want others to know who you really are and what you contribute to this world, or are you just making others believe with your shallow goals in life? Does technology increase or decrease your care for others, your compassion for others, and your desire to serve them? Such are the critical questions regarding technology and social development.

  28. TECHNOLOGY gives us fastest way in teaching, and that is our need to give our learner as fast as we could . by using of technology we can able to make an easy way how they learn them to us… how they enjoy during our class… how they become eager to participate and excited to attend our daily activities, and to witness the new things that we discover using that technology and to share with them.
Technology is always surprising.Whatever technology comes and goes, the ability of a candidate or, for that matter, a brand to connect with people and show the people that they respect them and are about them and want to empower them is going to be increasingly important to the outcome because people aren’t going to tolerate anything less. There’s going to be a competitor who does respect that stuff and who does get that stuff.

  29. Teachers play a vital role to our society today. It is evident that technology is very dominant and yet significant. But its significance becomes meaningless when it is used improperly. And so it is a “Call of Challenge” to teachers to guide and give constant reminders to the students.

  30. Practically speaking, the question is not whether to use tech in your classroom, but which tech, and how. It’s helpful, perhaps, to think of computer and digital technologies as a part a long history of ed tech—after all, a pen is itself a technology. It’s how each tool is used that matters when considering student engagement. The purpose of introducing technologies into the classroom is not to make students’ reliant on them, but rather enabled and inspired to achieve on their own.

  31. Techology is very important in our daily lives, why?, because even heretofore we were using and relying to it. Technology help us to make easy to connect or communicate our love ones everytime we want, helping people continue learning in advance and informing us what are the current issues that our country or other country tackled. But inspite of all the good things that the techology give us it can be one of the destructable things if we dont know how to use it properly, so let us be responsible for what are we doing and be more brave to it.

  33. We are in the great era of humanity where the technology is evolving rapidly. Every month there are countless of developments made with the goal to simplify a person’s daily life, and one of it is a person’s social life. Nowadays, you can communicate easily to your relatives, friends, and co-employees, even when you’re both at the ends of the Earth and this was made possible because of the system called the internet. You can now share any information. It will be uploaded instantly and is also accessible to others. Because of this, many people share their lives on sites like Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram. With these different sites available, a lot of people became addicted in updating their profiles, with a goal to fish likes and in worst case scenario they became attention-seekers wherein they feel fulfilled with the number of likes or views on their posts. This is the reason why many social media users became addicted to it. But for me this is something not good, for it’s just a temporary fulfillment. I’m not saying that using this kind of sites are not acceptable or the amazing advances of our technology should be stopped, it is just that excess of anything is bad and refraining yourself to use social sites because of its negative effects is not good. There is always a brighter side of everything. Use things according to its sole purpose without going beyond the line. Be confident about yourself, this will help you get rid of all those insecurities. And lastly, always remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by GOD..

  34. What is there that we actually need to evaluate?
As a teacher, I think there’s a need to evaluate how effective is the use of Technology on the teaching -Learning Process. We cannot avoid it in this new generations who were called the digital natives .The use of social media is their LIFE.Even us teachers if we try to detach
ourselves I’m sure its already hard for us.There’s a need to evaluate
the integration or implementation of technology in the curriculum.
How would I give meaning to a meaningless world?
The use of technology itself is the answer. We use this everywhere and anywhere. If we focus on the lesson , this is an ads -on on the learning process.Allow the students to do new ways or create and develop their learning experiences.
What message should come across?Transform teaching
with the use of this new technology but show them how to use it in positively.
How should I INSPIRE through this?
first of all I was inspired by my professor to be one of the advocates in the use of technology in my class.I will motivate my students on how to use this social media and how it would develop educational trends in the curriculum.I would let them feel that the use of ICT is a worthwhile endeavor.I will show them how things works just fine and makes life of learning more meaningful and enjoyable.

  35. We need to weigh the positive and negative effects of the use of technology inside or even outside our classrooms. There are infinite opportunities technology can bring us. Yes it has its negative side, but it is already our duty to alter these things into something benefecial to us especially to our learners. It doesnt mean that if there is no technology, the world would be as boring as ever. Life is already at its best even before the existence of those digital devices and other social media. Technology will only make it more meaningful if it is used properly to provide avenues for learning and making impossible things reachable to everyone. Being a role model to the present generation would be a great help to those in the future.
