You are More than Enough!

Source: You are More than Enough!

http://wortheet.com/slider-videos/everyone-of-us-must-realize-one-thing-i-am-enough

Sometimes we’ve got to pause for a while and give ourselves the benefit of looking “at our SELF” in the mirror!

Have you tried this? Try watching this video http://wortheet.com/slider-videos/everyone-of-us-must-realize-one-thing-i-am-enough … or even if this video is not or no longer available by the time you read this, GO GRAB THAT CHANCE, LOOK AT YOUR SELF IN THE MIRROR!

What can you say about what you see?

How do you feel about what you see?

What then can you tell TO WHAT YOU SEE?

Not everyone will tell US the appreciation that we want to hear from people around us, specially from the ones we love. It would take a lot of “self mending” to still GO ON living a life of good deeds for others; yet, it would take a lot “paying forward” what God have given us if we could tell ourselves “I AM ENOUGH” while we still grab all the chances to get better each day amidst whatever difficulties.

So, GUYZZZ, LADIES & GENTS, let’s grab telling this to ourselves: “I AM ENOUGH!” and KEEP HOLDING ON, NEVER EVER GIVE UP, there’s more to life than that money-problem, there’s more to life than whatever tough times! God has always been backing us up, we only need to feel it deep within our heart.

How we think about ourselves will make us FIND ALL THE REASON TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.

self-talk, mirror talk, sunset, gailmontero, best self, self esteem
Sometimes we’ve got to tell this to our “SELF”!

We don’t have to be Perfect.

We don’t have to be perfect to know that we deserve to be loved.
Yet, it’s up to us how to feel that love every single day even if the people whom we expect to make us feel it doesn’t — right at the time we need their assurance.
Be hopeful still and keep on doing the right thing
even if you don’t see affirmations as of yet.
For as long as we humble ourselves to God, we would soon realize how God answers our prayers every step of the way — in manners we least expect. #OhmyGinspired

Use those Rocks!

Pls Read God’s Silent Message: John 20:19-31

Kerygma Lenten Recollection
We were once Lost…

Have you been @ your rock bottom lately?

Have you committed some mistakes despite the many warnings na binigay sayo to save you from further pain? And has that been the reason why you keep on finding some other ways para sa iba ka maghanap ng comfort; — or has that been your reason for you to be aloof of the one who kept on giving you some guidance & reminders, yet you doubted?

Hmmm…wag ka na ma-conscious! Kasi, you might just have forgotten na ‘yong iniiwasan mo para mag-comfort sayo — that “someone” conquered death just to be alive for you; and would always be there to give you that hug even if you don’t say: “just what i need”!

Wag ka na mag-alala … kahit na at first you don’t completely listen, and kahit na ilang paulit-ulit na inakala mong hindi ka naiintindihan kaya you’ve been withdrawing yourself from fellowship and even from the truth, — that “someone” have already forgiven you and has been wanting to comfort you and help you up from your rock bottom!

On occasion, we tend to be Didymus: a twin character / a Thomas

– we love, yet we seclude ourselves from the freedom of the truth;

we believe, yet we doubt!

But you know what, from time to time, we have to humbly accept that what brings us to the rock bottom of our life – is that fact na “madalas kesa minsan, we keep on challenging God’s presence in our life!”

Thomas: “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

Minsan, ang dami nang marks/signs na ipinakita sa atin ni God, pero tayo, we opt to stay in our mats kasi naging “comfort zone” na natin ‘yong nasasaktan tayo; at iniisip nating mag-persevere kahit na sa maling paraan – kesa paniwalaan natin si God sa mga plans nya for us! Minsan pa nga, we already inflict more pain to God kasi we are allowing some insults to His image IN US — each time we tolerate the opponent to rule over our decisions and actuations.

Dear friend, we have our freewill to lift our own-self from our rock-bottom! We can discern God’s voice “kung saan at ano” ang dapat nating i-persevere in our everyday life! We should also decide WHAT TO QUIT kasi if we won’t, we are surely dragging our life to a much deeper “bottom”!

Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”–Jesus

If at first, it’s difficult to believe what’s in-stored for us, let us strive to work on our miracle for “complete trust” in GOD so that later on, as Bro Bo Sanchez challenged us during our successful KLR, we can eventually be A MIRACLE TO OTHERS – kaya sige na, ‘wag na magdalawang isip: QUIT that pain and BOUNCE! Inspired by our recollection, we don’t deserve to stay at our “low life” – use those rocks instead and GET PROMOTED in life! #sunset @InspiringInfluence.com

OVERTURN THOSE HEAVY ROCKS!

Overturning those Heavy Rocks bring us to OUR EASTER SUNDAY!

“Disillusioned by life, there was this self-pitying woman who thought that she has all the good reason to frown.

And so, at the deserted park bench she sat –

feeling so indulged that the world was so intent on dragging her down.

Suddenly, a young boy all tired from play, stood right before her and said with great excitement,

“Look what I found!”

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight, with its petals all worn – not enough rain, or too little light.

Wanting her to take his dead flower, the lady faked a small smile and then shifted away.

But instead of moving back, the boy sat next to her side

and placed the flower to his nose and declared with overacted surprise,

“It sure smells pretty and it’s beautiful, too.

That’s why I picked it; … here, it’s for you.”

The weed before her was dying or dead.

But she knew she must take it, or he might never leave.

So she reached for the flower, and replied, “Just what I need.”

But instead of him placing the flower in her hand, He held it mid-air without reason or plan.

It was then that she noticed for the very first time

That weed-toting boy could not see: he was blind.

Then she heard her voice quiver; tears fell … as she thanked him for picking the very best one.

“You’re welcome,” he smiled, and then ran off to play,

Unaware of the impact he had on her day.

And to herself she declared:

“Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see

The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.”

Could it not then be true that several times in our life, we’ve also been blind? We’ve been so self-indulged in OUR BLACK SATURDAY – that until now, we haven’t as of yet learned to forgive those who’ve hurt us. It’s been a long time that we’ve been keeping grudges against those who no longer knew how to bridge back to us. And for quite a lot longer, we’ve been allowing that “heavy rock” to hinder us from appreciating that we should take AS IT IS — those ROSES WITH THORNS! – those imperfect persons whom we should accept as they are!

JESUS RESURRECTED AFTER THREE DAYS!

And He did — because He committed himself to RISE AGAIN even before He died. And as soon as His revival,

HE ROLLED THAT BIG HEAVY ROCK AGAINST HIS TOMB.

We’re down to our last day of commemorating how Jesus triumphed over those who caused His transgressions and sufferings! He showed us that AFTER A BLACK SATURDAY in our life, we can OVERTURN those rocks of heavy feelings!

God has been striving to FIND US during those days when we couldn’t even feel what we needed to see.  We’ve been ONCE LOST and God never gave up on us until today – YET — NO ONE ELSE will terminate those Black Saturdays in our life than our own COMMITMENT TO RISE AGAIN … just as Jesus did — to bring ourselves to the Easter Sunday of our life! #sunset

Do you “Make Tents”?

Hi Friends, it’s 2nd Sunday of Lent, may we strive to make some little preparations for our Spiritual Growth

Pls Consider God’s Silent Message: Mark 9:2-10 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+9:2-10

Sabi nila, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!”

But come to think of it … TRUE BEAUTY is not actually something that we see
– but “that thing that WE FEEL”it should be right there “in the heart” of an imperfect person who allowed him/herself to be held up for “a radiant makeover”

– not for long period of hours in front of a mirror
– but in life’s training grounds!

Yet, not many of us are willing to go through such metamorphosis because we are more often apprehensive & pertified by “what we think we know”, yet no longer aware that we’re already being anxious with what we want to believe in.

When we don’t understand what’s going on in our life … when we struggle on things & we’re not comfortable with what’s happening … when we’re confused & we don’t know what to say; much that we actually don’t want to explore outside of our comfort zones … we’d rather “make tents”!

“Then Peter said to Jesus in reply,“Rabbi, it is good that we are here!

Let us make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

He hardly knew what to say, they were so terrified.”

When we secure ourselves in-ward & hide-away; when we don’t respond in a loving & wise manner; when we tend to be self-centered & protect ourselves with pride; when we misinterpret good intentions & doesn’t want to “listen”it could’ve made us feel good that we’ve already built our tents — BUT it doesn’t maximize our experience “being here”!

Dear Bros & Sis, God wants us to be BEAUTIFUL and He hopes that today, we could be inspired by His Transfiguration while He intends to make us realize how cool He is for giving us our family to whom He entrusted our complete “change of heart” so that such beauty will not only attract some beholders but will “affect” God’s legacy through us 🙂  #sunset

Visible Invisible SIGNS.

Gospel Reading, 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Mark 1: 40-45

gospel reflection, forgiveness, love, understanding, family life, visible, invisible
This may make us “leprous” …

This happens by reflecting on what we did and “putting ourself in place of the person na nagawan natin ng kasalanan” para maramdaman natin kung gaano tayo nakasakit– hindi lang ng damdamin kundi pati ng pagkatao ng nagmamahal sa atin. If we will be humble enough to do this in our solitude, we will realize that our actions are already blemishing “God’s image & likeness” IN US. If on the other hand we will be protective of our pride because we did not reflect on our actuations & attitude, no wonder … we would never understand why the person we’ve offended opted to give us that “silent response” which made us hate that person all the more — instead of striving to prove the “sincerity of our sorry”. God has His ways of penalizing – not really US – but OUR DISOBEDIENCE. That “leprosy” which He allowed to struck Miriam in the Old Testament [Numbers 12:12-15] may still have a lot of manifestations in our modern times.

Whatever is “unclean in the inside” soon becomes “visible at the outside”

Sometimes, we’re just too proud to point our finger to others when we are “in isolation” – yet, we do not realize that while we do, our prevalent actions would indicate our “self-inflicted pains” because we didn’t open our heart to deeply understand God’s signals. But then again, laging kagaya ng dati, kahit na gaano natin “itulak si God palayo and no matter how hard we throw Him all the insults and blames”, STILL, with all of His RELENTLESS LOVE, He would sacrifice being pained even when we strongly resist that persistent HUG which He hopes to pacify us.

40 “If you will, you can make me clean.”
–Naamam, a lepper

SHOULD we also learn this humility, “we will no longer be leprous” — when we surely know that God will always be moved with pity and touch us. As much as God replies with His 41 “I will; be clean.”, Dear Friend, Brothers & Sisters, Dear Child, may we also affirm our commitment: “I will Love, forgive myself & allow myself to BE LOVED!” Let us be a symbolic rock so that UPON US, God’s church shall be VISIBLE! #sunset

Uso pa ba ang “Film Developing”?

A Negative Film.

It is processed in a so called dark room. The film is soaked in chemical, then soon, images appear more beautifully from negative to positive.

Sometimes we want to live our own life and we want people to leave us alone, kasi we are annoyed by those who are there, offering the best that they have exerted their effort to.

We neglect them, we reject their offers, we mis-interpret their intentions until such times  when our reactions would put us to a test.

“I don’t need your service!, It doesn’t mean a thing to me!

You do not understand me at all, sayang lang time ko!

‘wag na lang kasi akong pakikialaman!”

These are our usual lines.   Without us being aware,  we are actually  resisting positive efforts which may not make us feel good just like being in that “dark room” — but if only we would allow ourselves to “enjoy the experience of being loved” just like that negative film soaked into chemical, we would soon become that beautifully printed picture ever captured because we responded “in cooperation” with that goal to “bring out the BEST in US”!

From negative to positive … Film Developing is Living Life to the Fullest!

Bakit nga ba wala silang IMPACT sa atin?

Feel God’s Message in this Gospel:  Matthew 22:34-40

“Kamusta ka?                                                                                                                       … have you tried asking this to your “SELF”?

… ‘yong sa dami ng mga pinagdadaanan mo lately, at sa dami ng mga nalagpasan mo at na-accomplish, have you ever congratulated YOUrself?

… ‘yong sabihin mo sa sarili mong “i love ME” BEYOND those “selfie” shots & posts, nagawa mo na rin po ba?

Sabi kasi in today’s gospel, 38 This is the great commandment: 37  “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart  and with all your soul and with all your mind.   You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Some of us may claim na “lusot tayo” & “not guilty at all” about “loving God w/ all our heart, soul & mind” – BUT some of us are “wounded child”! and not everyone of us know how to really love our “self”  — kaya naman we scarcely have the generosity to extend this love to others.

canvas of society, filipino children today, situation of young persons
Love your Neighbor as you Love YOURSELF!
  10. Sina Jun at Rosel.

If only we would see them in real life – as I am inviting you to please take time to watch them in this video-link https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lA8UQ67lNm0

— maybe then, we would ask ourselves:  “bakit nga ba di ko sila magawang tingnan?”

My dear friends, Jesus has been very generous to us in His invitations for the past weeks in His gospels. Today, let us learn from this Canvas: “hindi dapat si Jesus na lang ang laging nagbibigay”!
As we love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  Let us also be that “love” which our neighbors “long for”!

We can never create that “impact” to anyone unless we allow God’s love to MOVE US beyond that canvas. #sunset

Stop & Talk Awhile, Bring Jesus to ONE.

Feel God’s Message in Today’s Gospel:  Matthew 22:15-21,           29th Sunday in Ordinary Time
outreach program, elderly, abandoned, impact
That one created an impact!

“Binalak nya lang daw ay simpleng kaininan over CPA (Chicken Pork Adobo) para sa mga “Lola” — pero umulan ng biyaya!!! May mga nag-share ng “time at talent” nila, may mga nag-donate financially; yung adobo nagkaroon ng kapartner na juice, nadagdagan pa ng ice cream (umulan pa nga ng ice cream), at may mga regalong naiabot kina Lola: ilang kahon ng grocery, mga relos, at rosas, at may simpleng pahabol pa!”

We could have resisted “being with her on her special day”. I for one, could have instead preferred accomplishing my “tons of things to do for the day” – pero ang galing ni Lord — He granted what her heart desired for her birthday — with her Mama Weng’s tireless assistance, her family’s support beyond measure,  her thoughtful friends, her The Feast Family: brothers & sisters  who shared in their special ways & the gorgeous Youths who chose to come “for a good cause” instead of being “tambayers” somewhere else.

I already want to LEAVE!” – sa halip na “I still want to LIVE!”

It has been an overwhelming experience beyond gifts – at dahil ‘yon sa simpleng “invitation” ng isang kaibigan na hindi naming nagawang tangghihan!

“Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar,

and give to God what belongs to God.” – Matthew 22:21

All that she wanted was to celebrate her birthday with them: with those 20 “grannies” in that Home for the Elderly & Abandoned.  That very simple candle-cake blowing and receiving that singled-out pink flower from a bunch of 20 red roses – yon yong para sa birthday celebrant!  At yong “paglapit, pakiki-tawa, pag-akbay, pag-assist at pagpapasaya kina “granny”, we just knew deep within our hearts that we brought Jesus to them when their eyes sparkled with joy and when their palms turned warm — “not wanting to let us go” !

When they “looked at us through the heart, and when they hugged us so tight, we knew that we’ve just made “a difference”! — not only to them, but also to ourselves because we have memorized  how it feels to be there to at least fill-in one’s “longing”!

So to this friend,  we’re more than thankful to her for discipling to us & for being a channel of opportunity to also be a Jesus to many!

And to you, our dear Feast Family, I know you can also challenge yourselves to be of SERVICE to a “longing” ONE, to listen to a certain SILENCE, and to soon tell YOUR STORY of how you’ve also brought Jesus to ONE PERSON within your reach.

Let’s give it a try within this week: STOP & TALK AWHILE even half-way with ONE! #sunset

Beyond Teaching: Change, Choice & Principles

Come to think of it, there are times when intrinsically or extrinsically, we may rarely find such “urge” to do the right thing — but because we want to do our social responsibility,  what then could be that “urge” and why do we need to find it?

What is it that we really need to have for us to be able to give?

education, learning, motivation, school, transfer of learning.
What is it that we need to have?
