THE REAL ESSENCE OF BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR!

Pls Read God’s Silent Message: MARK 6:7-13

If you make LOVE your motivation,

YOU CAN make this world a better place!

Yet, if you are an Entrepreneur, as I’ve said “YOU ARE” during the earlier part of this Series, YOU SHOULDN’T FALL in LOVE!

Ironic, right?

We wouldn’t really understand unless we STRIVE TO FEEL BEYOND!

Today’s Gospel while we also end this Series, SHOULD BE A GREAT REMINDER of what makes JESUS, ENTREPRENEUR: THE GREATEST BUSINESS MODEL IN THE WORLD.

Looking into Jesus’ BUSINESS STRATEGY:

  1. He REACHED OUT when He sent the 12 Apostles to perform cleaning-up tasks to the 12 tribes of Ancient Israel for whom [towards the future: Rev 21.21, 25-26] He prepared 12 Gates in the Four-Walled Glass City of God which are always open to welcome the glory of all the nations into it.
  2. He TRUSTED & WORKED WITH A PARTNER when 7 He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits.
  3. He GAVE ASSURANCE of His Presence with His Partners when 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick.
  4. He WAS CONCERNED about HOW THEY WOULD FEEL along the way that’s why He told His Partners 9 to wear sandals but not a second tunic.
  5. He PROVIDED MOTIVATION — for He was sure that there will be REJECTION all along. 11 Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet.
  6. He OFFERED COMPROMISE & HEALING OF RELATIONSHIPs each time the Disciples anointed with oil those whose unclean spirits were cured.

NO ONE would ever find it easy to JUST GIVE-IN to somebody’s directives specially if along the way, we’re bringing with us the justifications of OUR PAST and the attitudes that we’ve already been used to, all the days of our life.

IN LOVE, we should STRIVE NOT TO FALL!

Falling in love is just an indication that we’re giving-in to that temptation of being impatient, stiff in understanding, EGO-CENTERED whose pride we protect against any insult because we are “in authority”, abusive, insensitive, unpredictable, hot headed, desirous of others’ approval in the midst several unrecognized pretenses which are at times at the expense of hurting another’s compromise.

IN LOVE, we should instead strive to GROW.

— no longer with our OLD SELF, no more of the baggage of the past

— enough of “doing our own thing” because we aren’t LONE-NOMADs!

God is SENDING US “TWO BY TWO” to train us TO THE REAL WORLD OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP – the LIFE that we’re ENTRUSTED WITH!

TWO-BY-TWO STARTS A FAMILY!

If WE CAN make LOVE our motivation,

WE CAN make this world a better place – but it SHOULD all begin @HOME!

— the perfect place to LEARN & EXPERIENCE that

THE REAL ESSENCE OF BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR

is to HUMBLY show that there is GROWTH IN OUR CHARACTER

and that WE are God’s presence to the people within OUR FAMILY!

Afterall, it’s never too late! WE STILL HAVE TODAY! Let’s MAXIMIZE TIME#sunset

love, couples, family, growth
If we make love our motivation!

OVERCOME YOUR FOCUS!

Pls Read God’s Silent Message: Mark 6:1-6

HINDI OPTION ANG SUMUKO!

#positive mind #Jesuslike #TheFeastInspired #Jesus,Entrepreneur
Divide Single-Mindedness!

…come to think of it, there are a lot of wonderful things, people & situations na dapat nating mapansin from sunrise to sunset … isama na natin ‘yong pagbangon natin sa madaling a raw:  even with our eyes closed, alam natin na naandyan pa din ‘yong family natin — na despite some imperfections ay  pwede pa din nating maging dahilan kung bakit tayo bumabangon; at si God, ang daming inihandang opportunities para sa atin sa loob ng buong maghapon.

Problem lang is …

we never get to see those wonders kasi we opted to FOCUS our attention to our own assumptions which make us feel that we’ve got to do a lot of “proving our SELF” to people whom we think “never appreciate us!”

we are NOT AWARE of our OWN SHORTCOMINGS because we keep on FINGER-POINTING that our pains are all because of what others have done.

Kaya naman in effect …

we are no longer aware na ‘yong totoo, tayo yong hindi na nakaka-appreciate sa mga pagre-reach out na ginagawa ng iba towards us.

Today, let’s strive to DIVIDE OUR “SINGLE-MINDEDNESS”! Let’s not be too focused on the “not so favourable things” that are happening around us; neither on the self-concept that we are neglected by whatever cause – kasi ang totoo, even Jesus was despised by His own relatives and we couldn’t imagine how “painful” it was … but because He stood by the truth that He is PURE IN HIS INTENTIONS, He kept on reaching out to those who are “close-minded” – all because HE LOVES GENEROUSLY WITHOUT ANY AMOUNT OF PRETENCE!  #sunset

Visible Invisible SIGNS.

Gospel Reading, 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time: Mark 1: 40-45

gospel reflection, forgiveness, love, understanding, family life, visible, invisible
This may make us “leprous” …

This happens by reflecting on what we did and “putting ourself in place of the person na nagawan natin ng kasalanan” para maramdaman natin kung gaano tayo nakasakit– hindi lang ng damdamin kundi pati ng pagkatao ng nagmamahal sa atin. If we will be humble enough to do this in our solitude, we will realize that our actions are already blemishing “God’s image & likeness” IN US. If on the other hand we will be protective of our pride because we did not reflect on our actuations & attitude, no wonder … we would never understand why the person we’ve offended opted to give us that “silent response” which made us hate that person all the more — instead of striving to prove the “sincerity of our sorry”. God has His ways of penalizing – not really US – but OUR DISOBEDIENCE. That “leprosy” which He allowed to struck Miriam in the Old Testament [Numbers 12:12-15] may still have a lot of manifestations in our modern times.

Whatever is “unclean in the inside” soon becomes “visible at the outside”

Sometimes, we’re just too proud to point our finger to others when we are “in isolation” – yet, we do not realize that while we do, our prevalent actions would indicate our “self-inflicted pains” because we didn’t open our heart to deeply understand God’s signals. But then again, laging kagaya ng dati, kahit na gaano natin “itulak si God palayo and no matter how hard we throw Him all the insults and blames”, STILL, with all of His RELENTLESS LOVE, He would sacrifice being pained even when we strongly resist that persistent HUG which He hopes to pacify us.

40 “If you will, you can make me clean.”
–Naamam, a lepper

SHOULD we also learn this humility, “we will no longer be leprous” — when we surely know that God will always be moved with pity and touch us. As much as God replies with His 41 “I will; be clean.”, Dear Friend, Brothers & Sisters, Dear Child, may we also affirm our commitment: “I will Love, forgive myself & allow myself to BE LOVED!” Let us be a symbolic rock so that UPON US, God’s church shall be VISIBLE! #sunset

Waterproof Faith.

#DearPopeFrancis, PopeFrancisPH, waterproof faith,
Yes #DearPopeFrancis, I am Personally ONE WITH YOU!

Please read: Mark 1: 14-2

IaMPOSSIBLE!

17 Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

18 Then they abandoned their nets and followed him.

not evenwithin the family – to be with you in the same net!

Despite some changing of minds & discouragements against my desire TO BE THERE in Luneta Park-Quirino Grandstand last Sunday, the ONLY CHOICE I HAD was to tell myself: “I AM POSSIBLE!” … until all by myself @ past 3am, I had to walk-through the re-routes along Roxas Boulevard back to Maria Orosa then to Taft Avenue for main entrance and stand-still among the approximately 6M people who desired to have a PERSONAL ENCOUNTER with our Dear Pope Francis for the concluding part of His Pastoral Journey. I was supposed to meet-up my younger sister & bro in law amidst that emerging sea of believers but network signal was cut-off just before we succeeded being together in one quadrant.

Sa totoong buhay, scenarios like these may discourage us. Of course, who would want to be alone in the middle of such a very big crowd, and who would boldly wait for hours while you’re nowhere to hide from the non-stop rain which didn’t give you the choice to remain seated for you’ll get so wet all over? And so true, there may be some speck of wanting to just give up & just go back home to your family – BUT THEN NO! – for in His message during the Meeting with Families in MOA Arena, our Holy Father urged that since there are many threats within the family:

“We must rise from our slumber! We must get up and act!”

He wants a sheep against the wolves that are approaching, particularly our tendency to get trapped in materialism which is destructive of family life. True enough, we may unawaringly experience “isolation and divisions” within our famiy; and sometimes, human and vulnerable as we are, we may just feel too weak to just “let things be”!

BUT THEN AGAIN NO! Lolo Kiko said that “The future passes from the family” & today’s gospel could be an affirmation of our responsibility that the very first place “to fish” is within our family. However, if we find it difficult, there’s got to be somebody to take the initiative to make the family protected against ideological colonization which may eventually separate us.

Reason may not understand what the heart perceives. YES, I “persisted” to be there not to make history with the 6M crowd with “waterproof faith” but to LISTEN UPCLOSE to God’s message through His Holiness & “offer my presence from dawn to sunset as an ounce of sacrifice for my family’s intentions” – for in my heart 15 “This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” #sunset

Bakit nga ba wala silang IMPACT sa atin?

Feel God’s Message in this Gospel:  Matthew 22:34-40

“Kamusta ka?                                                                                                                       … have you tried asking this to your “SELF”?

… ‘yong sa dami ng mga pinagdadaanan mo lately, at sa dami ng mga nalagpasan mo at na-accomplish, have you ever congratulated YOUrself?

… ‘yong sabihin mo sa sarili mong “i love ME” BEYOND those “selfie” shots & posts, nagawa mo na rin po ba?

Sabi kasi in today’s gospel, 38 This is the great commandment: 37  “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart  and with all your soul and with all your mind.   You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Some of us may claim na “lusot tayo” & “not guilty at all” about “loving God w/ all our heart, soul & mind” – BUT some of us are “wounded child”! and not everyone of us know how to really love our “self”  — kaya naman we scarcely have the generosity to extend this love to others.

canvas of society, filipino children today, situation of young persons
Love your Neighbor as you Love YOURSELF!
  10. Sina Jun at Rosel.

If only we would see them in real life – as I am inviting you to please take time to watch them in this video-link https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lA8UQ67lNm0

— maybe then, we would ask ourselves:  “bakit nga ba di ko sila magawang tingnan?”

My dear friends, Jesus has been very generous to us in His invitations for the past weeks in His gospels. Today, let us learn from this Canvas: “hindi dapat si Jesus na lang ang laging nagbibigay”!
As we love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  Let us also be that “love” which our neighbors “long for”!

We can never create that “impact” to anyone unless we allow God’s love to MOVE US beyond that canvas. #sunset

Stop & Talk Awhile, Bring Jesus to ONE.

Feel God’s Message in Today’s Gospel:  Matthew 22:15-21,           29th Sunday in Ordinary Time
outreach program, elderly, abandoned, impact
That one created an impact!

“Binalak nya lang daw ay simpleng kaininan over CPA (Chicken Pork Adobo) para sa mga “Lola” — pero umulan ng biyaya!!! May mga nag-share ng “time at talent” nila, may mga nag-donate financially; yung adobo nagkaroon ng kapartner na juice, nadagdagan pa ng ice cream (umulan pa nga ng ice cream), at may mga regalong naiabot kina Lola: ilang kahon ng grocery, mga relos, at rosas, at may simpleng pahabol pa!”

We could have resisted “being with her on her special day”. I for one, could have instead preferred accomplishing my “tons of things to do for the day” – pero ang galing ni Lord — He granted what her heart desired for her birthday — with her Mama Weng’s tireless assistance, her family’s support beyond measure,  her thoughtful friends, her The Feast Family: brothers & sisters  who shared in their special ways & the gorgeous Youths who chose to come “for a good cause” instead of being “tambayers” somewhere else.

I already want to LEAVE!” – sa halip na “I still want to LIVE!”

It has been an overwhelming experience beyond gifts – at dahil ‘yon sa simpleng “invitation” ng isang kaibigan na hindi naming nagawang tangghihan!

“Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar,

and give to God what belongs to God.” – Matthew 22:21

All that she wanted was to celebrate her birthday with them: with those 20 “grannies” in that Home for the Elderly & Abandoned.  That very simple candle-cake blowing and receiving that singled-out pink flower from a bunch of 20 red roses – yon yong para sa birthday celebrant!  At yong “paglapit, pakiki-tawa, pag-akbay, pag-assist at pagpapasaya kina “granny”, we just knew deep within our hearts that we brought Jesus to them when their eyes sparkled with joy and when their palms turned warm — “not wanting to let us go” !

When they “looked at us through the heart, and when they hugged us so tight, we knew that we’ve just made “a difference”! — not only to them, but also to ourselves because we have memorized  how it feels to be there to at least fill-in one’s “longing”!

So to this friend,  we’re more than thankful to her for discipling to us & for being a channel of opportunity to also be a Jesus to many!

And to you, our dear Feast Family, I know you can also challenge yourselves to be of SERVICE to a “longing” ONE, to listen to a certain SILENCE, and to soon tell YOUR STORY of how you’ve also brought Jesus to ONE PERSON within your reach.

Let’s give it a try within this week: STOP & TALK AWHILE even half-way with ONE! #sunset

“You are the Motivation” that You Need!

“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work                 even a single day in your life!” — anonymous

Yet,  “Push yourself to a task you dont feel like doing —            and it’s as if you’ve been working against a wall which you can never push no matter what!” — gailmontero

What could there be and what could be missing in either conditions?   “Para kanino ka ba bumabangon”? — sheryfuncion                          What could have Steven Covey meant when he said  “There are three constants in life: change, choice, principles.”? … and what does this image depict in relation to Learning & Motivation?

change, choice, principles, beyond teaching, emotion, learning, education, motivation, retention, power, knowledge
Beyond Teaching: Change, Choice & Principles

Come to think of it, there are times when intrinsically or extrinsically, we may rarely find such “urge” to do the right thing — but because we want to do our social responsibility,  what then could be that “urge” and why do we need to find it?

What is it that we really need to have for us to be able to give?

education, learning, motivation, school, transfer of learning.
What is it that we need to have?

What would your Heart Show?

“When the mind stops remembering,   the heart will never forget.”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tba0bjevwfI

What if one day you will no longer remember, have you ever wondered what your loved ones would “see in your heart”?

The things that we do now, events that we plan about, gestures & acts of concern, appreciation & gratitude that we’ve always intended to give at this point in time … any of these might be “what they will see “in there” — good news is, WE CAN START TRAINING OURSELVES “RIGHT NOW” while we’re not sure UNTIL WHEN we could.

We don’t have forever! If things could  be “possible at hand”, why not MAKE IT HAPPEN while you can still enjoy EACH OTHER’S MEMORY?

IF we CAN PLAN to be with others for quite some time for enjoyment, why not ALSO PLAN TO BE WITH THE PERSONS WHO COULD BE THERE WITH US FOR A LIFETIME?

Let us not wait for the time when the person who have done things for us, can no longer do and enjoy “a lot with us” because we kept on saying “there will be time for that…!”

Grab that “Popped-up Thought”

Why not GRAB AN OPPORTUNITY every time an idea pops-out?

Why not INSPIRE yourself at a BLINK OF A MOMENT?

Why not INFLUENCE others to get inspired just because you chose to SHARE what you’ve had in mind and what you’ve felt at heart?

We can be open to all possibilities.  We can be FREE to be the person that we are while we explore using the GIFTS of LOVE from our Almighty — then just because we’ve been brave enough to TALK OUT those that we have discovered, ONLY THEN would we be amazed of our UNIQUENESS.

This is what this SITE hopes to fulfill : to INSPIRE INFLUENCE and to INFLUENCE INSPIRATION!
